Pot Luck Tea Party

proses membentuk
che mek yg sedia digoreng
che mek yg dah siap digoreng (hudoh)
apple crumble pie..sedap wooo
pineapple upside down cake..nie pun sedap
sara di tengah2

Hari ni kami buat tea party at our hotel room. Ala2 pot luck la. Mommy and daddy buat "che mek" and apple crumble pie. Ada grapes, apples, maruku and danish pastry. Aunty Mona brought "Pineapple Upside Down Cake", Ms. Goh brought tuna puffs and chocolate cake.. yummyyyyy.. Its just a get together thingy..saja lepak2 on sunday petang kan..and can get to know each other better. All of them are Malaysian working for Maersk. Mommy punya che mek distorted gila. Ada yg tembun, ada yg bulat, ada yg bujur..mcm2 bentuk ada.. . Takpe, yg tu first attempt. Nanti dah tau dah la nak buat bagi lagi sedap and lagi uniform in size..Tapi depa makan je... Ingredients

4/5 biji sweet potatoes
3/4 cawan tepung gandum
a pinch of salt
water
sugar

Method

Rebus sweet potatoes sampai empuk, buang kulit and lenyekkan
Masukkan tepung gandum n sikit garam
Pastu masukkan air bit by bit sampai adunan tu boleh dibentuk
Bentukkanlah nak bentuk apa pun..tp bentuk ori dia bujur
Pastu buat ruangan kat tengah and letak gula..kalau suka manis,letakla byk skit
Tutup balik pastu goreng (deep fry) --- kalau pakai deep fryer lg bagus (temp 180oC about 7 min)

Aku rasa che mek hang tu lembut sgt...sbb tu susah sket nk bentuk...nxt time add tpg sket....tgk tgn hang pun melekit2 jer.....sure lembut tuh....nk sng hang buat base bentuk pastu golek sket atas tpg.....sng keje hang nk membentuknyer.....sekian.... Mon 4-Sep-2006 00:04

Kirah : Bukan x cukup tepung, tp terlebih ayaq. The recipe calls for 300gm tepung ja..tapi aku kena tambah tepung sampai dkt sekilo . Sbb tu che mek tu jadik keras kejong..xpa, next time dah tau dah nak buat mcm mana..

Aida : besa la..nak pi mkn kat secret recipe xdak, so terpaksa la buat sendiri w'pun x sedap.. bestnya addyan dah menerap..sara dok lagu tu ja..abih terer pun pungkok ja terterap sikit..kepala mcm berat ja..

yg hang pi boh ayaq sampai seperiuk tu awat? agak2 la....boh sket2.... cemana nk ajak aku wat bisnes mkn nih? tp aku rasa la,kt sana kita buat cucoq tepung pun laku,kan? boh la nama canggih ala2 citer melayu sket.....hehehe.....weh, bila nih? aku nk lari pi sana lah....nti check rega tiket....visa cemana arrr? hi liling..sorry la coz bukan i yg buat that pineapple upside down cake. my friend yg buat..anyway, i'll ask the recipe nanti next time i saw her then i'll paste it here, ok..
