Mak & Adik in Copenhagen!! Part 5 - Hamburg, Germany

Woke up 5 am in the morning that day. Made some breads, butter cake, fried rice and fried chicken for our bekal. Departed from our house at around 7.30 am. It was rainy and cloudy that day. This was the first time we went on a holiday by car. The view along the country side was magnificent. I bet if it was sunny, it would be much much nicer.
Arrived in Rødby at about 9 am. Checked-in at Scandlines pier and off we go on the Prins Richard's ferry. The journey took about 45 minutes.
Went window shopping on the ferry and had breakfast at one of the cafes on board. Had our own home made breads and ordered 3 cups of hot chocolate. My mom said that was the best hot chocolate she ever tasted. hehehe..  (tapi mmg sedap pun hot choc dia...kalah starbucks punya..)
Arrived at Puttgarden, Germany at about 10 am and continued our journey thru the highway there. The speed limit on the highway or Autobahn is not less than 120 km per hour! Merapak la jugak. Nasib baik sewa Volvo V70 so kira xdela terkebelakang sgt.
At around 12 pm, we finally arrived in Hamburg. Since we can only check in at Holiday Inn Kieler Staββe at 3 pm, we went directly to
Landungsbrϋcken or the port for a port tour (Hafenrundfahrt). Paid €10 per person for a 1 hour tour which was 100% in Deutcsh!! Imagine la we all nganga2 konfius bila semua org dok gelak2 kalau tourist guide tu buat lawak. My mom lagi best. She said that she can only understand container. Yg lain2 tu dia tak paham. Punyala depa ni tak heran kat tourist from foreign countries.
After the tour, lepas sesat2, we finally reached our hotel. It was about 5 pm then. We were starving and hoping to eat our nasik goreng. Unfortunately, the nasik goreng dah basi  . Sedih la semua org  . Mujur ayam goreng x basi and ada lagi roti yg utk breakfast. Lepas mandi and solat, we decided to go to the nearby supermarket nak beli apa yg ada. Bought some yoghurt, drinks and snacks.
The second day was filled by sightseeing and shopping. I lurrveee to shop in Germany coz the things here are cheaper than in Copenhagen. Ada la beli sikit2 ole2 utk bawak balik. Yang frust tu..I wanted to go to the real place where Hamburger was originated. Tapi mcm dah xde la. Tak jumpa pun. Dalam map dia pun xde tulis. We ended up shopping and sightseeing ja kat sana. Hamburg is actually the 2nd largest city in Germany tapi the town boleh round habis within 1 day je.
The last day, after checking out from the hotel, went to do some more shopping (sempat lagik tuh!). Then only we depart from Hamburg to one more stop before Copenhagen. I'll tell you more about that in my next entry.
