First attempt buat roti

Last week daddy requested nak mkn tandoori chicken..Normally we'll eat the tandoori with naan bread and selalunya naan bread tu beli je kat kedai..Tapi that day mommy dok ronda2 MamaFaMi's fp, found a recipe for naan bread..the recipe was originally from Mummy Hamim2's fp.. memang menjadi dan sodappp.. made 1 cheese naan & 2 garlic naans..yg lelain tu mkn plain je..served it with leftover chicken curry..To MamaFaMi & Mummy Hamim2, tusind tak in danish or thank you very much!!

Ingredients
750g flour
250g self-raising flour
250ml plain yogurt
1 tsp yeast (mix with 1 cup of lukewarm water)
2 tbsp butter (I used olive oil as Mama said it is better)
2 tbsp sugar
a pinch of salt
enough water

Method
1. Mix well flour, self-raising flour, sugar, salt and butter.
2. Add in yeast mixture and yoghurt. Add enough water and knead till a soft and smooth dough is formed.
3. Leave to prove. (kagum gile tgk roti tu naik..maklumla, 1st time buat roti..mcm jakun lak.. )
4. Roll flat and put on a non-stick pan on low heat. (I baked my naan bread in the oven)


hmm..teringat tandoori stall kt medan selera rahmat bbu. masa pregnant dulu slalu gi mkn..tp kena gi awal sbb ayam dia cepat abish..garlic naan dia mmg powerrrrr...huhuhu..rindu kt mamak roti naan tuuuu..

err...sara? dia mkn pasta with veggies sauce...

Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
50 g onion ~ chopped finely
1 clove garlic ~ peeled & crush
150 g carrot ~ peeled & chopped
40 g red pepper ~ sliced
200 g tinned chopped tomatoes
200 ml water
25 g frozen peas
3 tbsp tiny pasta stars (I used pasta shells & more than 3 tbsp)
40 g cheddar cheese ~ grated

Method
1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions given on the packet but omit the salt.
2. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion & garlic for 1 min.
3. Add the carrots & red pepper & cont to cook for 5 mins.
4. Add the tomatoes & water. Bring to the boil then cover with a lid & simmer for 15 mins.
5. Add the peas & cook for another 5 mins.
6. Remove from heat & stir in grated cheese until melted.
7. Blend the mixture to a purée and stir the pasta into the sauce.
**Makes 2-3 portions and suitable for freezing.




menjadi sungguh mama sara ni emmask..uwaahhaa..sedap tu....sara dah sibuk mengemas????hhehehehe..tunggaglanggang satu umah yer....samalah kakak nadia ni..itulah kerjaan nya teman ibu dia wat koje...dah mkin besar adik sara....makin tomei...sure nnt dia kenit macm korang 2 org yer..heheh..cute.. weih ko dah semakin pandai masak la...jealous aku...first time buat pun dah jadi...aku kalau first time buat jadik pun aku suka...yg aku tak suka berkali2 buat pun x jadi...

ni aku dah 2 bulan cuti masak...mak mertua aku duk ngan aku...skrg aku jadik tukang makan jer...
