Summercamp - Last Day
|
|
Nothing much. After breakfast we cleaned the house.
The kids were forced to finish the ice cream we bought yesterday. Hehehehhe...
Sebelum bergerak, posing2 dulu..
Then off we went to Rørvig Havn (Rørvig Harbour) nak tengok org tangkap ketam.
After spending about half an hour there, we continued our journey to Holbaek. Had a picnic at the beach.
At about 5 pm, bertolak balik CPH. Arrived safely in CPH at 6 pm.
...The End...

Summercamp - Day 2
|
|
The next day, daddy made a special breakfast for us. He made Kuzi Ayam with sweet buns. Ala..bun tu mommy yg buat..hehehehhe...
Sebelum apa2, layan je lah dulu gambar Denmark's Next Top Model nih..heheheh..
After sappedek, we went to Gniben, the outermost point of Sjaellands Odde.
Daddy & Uncle Haizan went down the hill to take some photos and cilok some batu. They said the place was beautiful.
We mommies didn't go because Maisara & Alyssa were sleeping inside the car. We just took some photos at the tebing there.
After about 45 minutes there, we went back to the summer house.
The kids did some drawing to kill the time.
When they seemed to get bored, they were then drilled by Commander Uncle Nazmi. Hehehe..They were forced to march...hehehe..Memang cute betul tgk budak2 tu march. Macam taik lembu jatuh..kelepek kelepet..
...pumping...
..and ketuk ketampi..
That afternoon, we were served with a special Nasi Beriani prepared by Nazri. Mmg sedap gilerrrr lah. Kalah mamak beriani kat Malaysia..hehehhe.
But before that, while Nazri was preparing lunch, the mommies took the opportunity utk buat taik mata, leaving the daddies in-charged of the kids. Look at the kids..they were playing with dirt!! Seluar Maisara dah hitam legam penuh dgn tanah..Hadoilaaaaa...
After everybody's tummy were filled, we started our activities. We played galah panjang or as us utara-ians call it tali-toi,
...tuju kasut...
...and the climax was water balloon war...
Hahahaha ..we had sooo much fun and not to mention, wet as well.
That night, Chef Haizan continued barbeque-ing and he made his special mushroom sauce (sedap gilerrr, lagi sedap drp mushroom soup Maggi tuh...lepas ni buleh buat sendiri dah..)
We continued our night with some snacks while watching Laksamana Do-Re-Mi and went to bed...
...To be continued lagik...

Summercamp - Day 1
|
|
We just got back from our summercamp trip in Sjællands Odde, 100 km from Copenhagen last Monday.
Started our journey on a sunny Saturday morning at about 9 am from my place. The journey took about 1½ hours.
Along the way we could see rapeseed fields everywhere. Beaauuutiiifuuuulllll...kuning memancar-mancar...
Our first stop was the fish market called Odden Fisk, located at Havneby (meaning : harbour city). The building was designed by a famous architect called Arne Jacobsen dulu-dulu kala...
Look at the fish called Rokke Vinge. Its ikan pari!! Its the first time I saw ikan pari in Denmark. Ingatkan spesis ni x idop kat laut Denmark nie. Ropa2nya ada jugak..Rohaya was so excited to see that ikan pari so she bought all 4 of them!! It costed DKK 300 ( = RM 180). Jgn terkujat aaa...mmg le ikan2 kat sini mahai. Ish, apa aje lah yg murah kat bumi Denmark nih..selipar jamban pun mahai tauuuu..
Then we took a stroll at the harbour. The view was magnificent. Rugi lak sbb takdak kamera canggih. Kalau pakai kamera canggih mesti gambaq lagi cun melecun..
Then we went to our summer house, located about 5 minutes drive from the harbour. When we arrived, the mommies immediately gpt busy in the kitchen preparing lunch.
The daddies were mowing the lawn, setting up the tent and hammock.
The kids? Apa lagiiiii..they were having fun lorrr...
Our lunch was superbbbb... We had ikan pari bakar, ikan makerel bakar, ayaq asam, asam pedas ikan pari, daging a'la Aya, kailan ikan masin dgn ikan goreng. Ishhh..taip nama makanan ni pun nak meleleh ayaq lioq aihhh...
After lunch, we went straight to the beach. Surprisingly, the water was "just nice" for us. We went skinny dipping (hahahahah..mana adeee...). No, the Danes there were topless..we were fully clothed. Masing2 bulat je bijik mata dok skodeng minah2 Danes tuh. Tapi pantai dia tak se-best pantai kat Malaysia. Pantai dia berbatu2 dan berlumut2. Setakat nak lepaskan gian tu bolehlah...
Maisara had a lot of fun in the water. She didn't even want to come out (as usual lah minah nih..).
We also had a few games which was fun fun fun!!!
At about 6 pm, the daddies started barbeque-ing.
After dinner, we all lepak while watching Musang Berjanggut......zzzzzzz...
...To be continued...

Knuthenborg Park & Safari
|
|
My conclusion (ehehe, blom apa2 dah conclude) - a very very fun trip.
Knuthenborg Park & Safari is located in a place called Maribo, about 1 1/2 hours drive from CPH. We went there on one Sunday afternoon. It was such a peaceful and green park. Although its a safari, we can't really see lots of animals "hanging out" in the park. Maybe its because the cold season just ended and the animals are still "adjusting" themselves to the warmth. Hahahah..memandai je aku...
After we arrived, our first agenda was of course to fill up our tummies.
And as usual, our bekal will be like enough for one week. Hahahaha..Takpela, gendang gendut tali kecapi, kenyang perut suka hati..
Then the kids went for a GRATIS ( I repeat, GRATIS) pony ride. Oh, sorry. Gratis here means FREEEEEEE!!! Its so difficult to get gratis rides like this in Denmark. So, the kids took the advantage to lanyak all the ponies cukup2. Even Maisara had fun riding the pony. Siap takmo berganjak dari situ. Nak agi..nak agi..hehehe.
If adults were allowed to ride as well, I think all of us mommies will be climbing up the ponies' back..
After that we cruised along the safari to look at the animals. Dapat la tgk harimau bergurau senda, binatang2 lain dok lepak tapi tgk dari jauh je...
There was also a playground in that park. Spent half of our time playing there. Not only the kids had fun, us mommies also apa kurangnya. Mesti mamat2 & minah2 Danish tgk confuse. Apehal la minah2 Asia ni dok terkinja2 main mcm budak. Takpela, asalkan kitorang bahagia..apa salahnya kan?
All in all, it was a worth place to visit. Would visit there again if there's a chance....
Ooopp..some of the photos I ciloked from Adila's Picasa...hehehe..tenkiu eh darling..

Legoland
|
|
I wrote this on 14th of April..So, kira sendiri lah ye bila kitorg pegi..hehehhe
Started our journey on Friday evening to Maersk's summer cottage in Haderslev, 250 km from Copenhagen. Me & Maisara tumpang Aunty Dila's car since Uncle Nazri was on duty di tengah lautan..
Arrived there at around 10.30 pm, had dinner (sedap woo..kami makan sup ekoq Haizan, kari ikan Aya dgn sayur campur) and went to bed.
Woke up early the next morning. The abahs2, ayahs2 and daddies2 took the kids for a walk at the nearby beach while us ibus2, mamas2 and mommies2 preparing breakfast and our bekal. At about 9 am after everybody's tummies were filled, off we went to Billund. The journey took about 50 minutes from Haderslev to Billund.
The kids were sooo excited when we arrived.
Maisara spent most of her time at the Duplo Playland. She particularly loved the MiniLand. She could squat there for hours and watched as the trains or trucks move around. She even wanted to go inside the MiniLand. Hehehe..dia suka betul MiniLand tuh..
Then we stopped for lunch. While we were "sappedek-ing", the kids were playing excitingly at the DuploLand. Just look at Maisara without fear climbing the stairs to the slide...
The boys also had tonnes of fun. They really know how to enjoy themselves I must say...
After lunch we went to the Atlantis. Its an aquarium built like a submarine. Interesting although its not as big as I thought. After that went to the baby changing room to give Maisara a change and performed our solat.
Later we joined the rest of the gangs to go on some "scary" rides. Hehehe..I'm a "penakut" kinda person so I didn't really go on those scary rides. But enjoy this photo of Daddy, Uncle Haizan and Uncle Poji on The Extreme Racer...hahahahahahah..
And this is me and Aunty Aya on the Power Builder.
Perghh...pening siot main nih..pusing2 tak hengat punyaaaa..Yg lawak tu, sebelum kitorg naik, semua org yg naik tu senyap je..Bila kitorang naik je terus riuh rendah building tuh..hahahahahha...Masing2 menjerit tak hengatt punya..
At about 6 pm, we started our journey back to our summer cottage.
The next day after having breakfast, we cleaned up the cottage and off we went to take some photos at the beach. Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos of our cottage. Memasing excited sgt nak gi beach..
We stopped by at Odense on our way back to CPH. Went to H.C Andersen's museum and took some photos.
Stopped for lunch and fun at the R&R before the Storebaelt.
Arrived in CPH safely at around 4.30 pm.
All in all, it was a very exciting and wonderful vacation for all of us. Alhamdulillah, the weather was very good although it was still a bit cold. I will recommend Legoland for everybody who likes these kinda park and for those who have kids. For us, we really enjoyed ourselves and even Maisara had a lot of fun..Money well spent indeed..
Enjoy the photos of Maisara and her first set of Lego Duplo..
Some of the photos are courtesy from Uncle Poji..tenkiu..

Happy Birthday, Pumpkin..
|
|
Yeah, yeah I know..Its a month late. But what to do, I'm a bz mommy. Hehehehe..
Our little angel turned 2 last month, 21st March to be exact. We held a birthday bash for her on the 29th since we were in Amsterdam on her birthday.
We did 2 separate parties for her. The first one was for daddy's colleagues and the second one was for KAMD's members. Maisara had a lottt of fun. We really did enjoyed ourselves that day.
I made 2 birthday cakes myself. It was my first attempt to decorate birthday cake. The results were not disastrous but it was OK I guess.
This is the cake for the first party..
The second cake...
The next day, I was totally flat. Down with a fever. Can't even get out of the bed. So, Maisara and daddy explored the gifts she received.
Thanks to everybody who came to her party. And also thanks a lot for the presents. She loves them soo much. Siap bila dpt present baru, toys yg lama sumanya diabaikan..hehehe..
| Quote: | And to our little rascal, happy 2nd birthday.
Semoga anak mommy dan daddy dalam lindungan Allah selalu dan semoga menjadi anak yang soleh, cerdik dan beriman.
Remember, we will always love you no matter what.
You are our heart and soul.
You are our angel, our rascal and our sunshine..
Can't imagine living without you..
May you have a wonderful life ahead of you, my dear..
Love,
Mommy & Daddy.. |
Aiseh, rasa mcm nak menangis lak..syahduuu..hehehe..

Amsterdam - Day 2
|
|
Hmm..dunno wat to write..Tgk gambar je dah la yeee..
Kan org kata "A picture can say a thousand words.." hahahahhaha..
At first we wanted to dine at this so-called Malaysian restaurant. But we didn't because :
1. Its not a Malaysian restaurant. The owner is a Singaporean
2. We doubted the halal-ness of the restaurant. The owner is not a Muslim...The only halal confirmation we got was from the waitress. Kalau ragu2, baik jangan makan..
3. Mahal gilooossssssss
So, pls check before you eat there..

Rombongan Cik Ni ke Amsterdam...
|
|
Woke up the next morning fresh although the ship is still "bergoyang-ing". Had a lavish breakfast of sandwiches, serunding and leftover chicken from last night.
Arrived at IJMuiden port around 9.30 am. The only transportation available from the port to the city center was the shuttle bus which costs about 7.50 euro per person, including children. We already asked in the ship on where should we buy the tickets but the receptionist told me that we can just pay to the driver. When we were there, we found out that the busses were packed. We asked the driver whether there will be more busses or not but he told us that we need to book our seats beforehand (mana satu nih? sorang ckp bayaq kat drebar, sorang cakap kena booking!!). Then the driver told us that there were only 4 seats available. The rest of us (12 org lagi) have to stand. The journey will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the traffic. Gilo apo..dah la bayaq mahal, kena berdiri lak tuh..
Then we decided not to take the bus. After almost being conned by 2 taxi drivers, finally we managed to rent 2 Opel Zafiras. My advice for those who wants to travel by cruise to Amsterdam, pls book your bus ticket early, if possible when you are booking the cabins. And don't trust the taxi drivers there. They know that you are desperate to get a transport, so they'll raise up the fare ikut suka hati depa..
After checking in, we went straight to Keukenhof. Unfortunately, it was raining and very windy when we arrived there. Managed to snap few photos kat org punya ladang tulip. Sib baik x kena halau ...After taking a few shots, we decided to go to east of Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans. Still raining and windy...
Had dinner at an Indonesian take-away called Toko Java. Everybody were staaaarrrving since we didn't have lunch that day. Went back to the hotel and celebrated Maisara's birthday. Ala2 pre-birthday celebration la nihhhh...
